Product Catalog

The Product Catalog menu is used to manage all product data displayed on the Products page of the landing page. This menu consists of three sub-menus: Product Category, Product, and Landing Page Product.


The following is the Products page as displayed on the landing page:


Product Category

Product Category is used to manage the list of product categories. These categories are not directly displayed on the landing page, but must be created first as a grouping reference before products can be added.


🔎 Searching for a Category​

Use the Search Category Product feature to quickly locate a specific category.

  1. Click the Search Category Product field at the top of the table.
  2. Enter the keyword of the category name you wish to find.
  3. The category list will be automatically filtered based on the entered keyword.

📋 Category List​

The product category list is displayed in a table with the following information:

StatusCategory status, either Active or Inactive
Last UpdatedDate and time the category was last updated
ActionsButtons to edit or delete the category

If a category status is set to Inactive, it will not appear as an option when creating a product.

➕ Adding a Category​

  1. Click the Add button in the top-right corner of the page.

  1. You will be directed to the Product Category | Add page.
  2. Enter the category name in the Category field.
  3. Select the category Status, either Active or Inactive, via the dropdown.
  4. Click the Save button to save the new category.

tip

Use a clear and descriptive category name to make it easily identifiable when grouping products.

✏️ Editing a Category​

  1. Click the ✏️ edit icon (green) in the Actions column of the category row you wish to modify.

  1. You will be directed to the Product Category | Edit page.
  2. Update the Category name or Status as needed.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

🗑️ Deleting a Category​

  1. Click the 🗑️ delete icon (red) in the Actions column of the category row you wish to remove.

  1. A confirmation popup "Are you sure?" will appear.
  2. Click Yes to confirm the deletion, or Cancel to abort.

warning

It is recommended to change the category Status to Inactive before deleting it, especially if the category still has associated products. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

tip

To deactivate a category without deleting it, click the ✏️ edit icon, change the Status to Inactive, and click Save.
